You know I love the Hannah Swenson series by Joanne Fluke, but what other book series are you Really Into? I’m reading it in anticipation of The Simplicity of Cider which is supposed to hit shelves May of 2017. Next up is Luck, Love & Lemon Pie by Amy. This cake is so delicious that it deserves a full post of its own, so you can find more about it here. Also, this book features a hell of a recipe for Coconut Cream Cake. I loved Lou, fell in love with Milwaukee & can’t wait to read more from Amy. I Really enjoyed getting to know them & loved how much they supported Lou’s dream & they seriously had the best love story. Amy did throw in some nice surprises, like THE COUPLE. Yes, it was somewhat predictable, but I’m totally okay with that. I don’t know why! This book was sweet, fun & I (for real) cried at the end. I tried to get Jessica Really Into this book as well, but she wasn’t biting. It’s only a matter of time before the two fall in love…but when the truth comes out, can Lou overlook the past to chase her future? As they explore the city’s local delicacies and their mutual attraction, Lou’s restaurant faces closure, while Al’s column gains popularity. As they chat, Al playfully challenges Lou to show him the best of Milwaukee and she’s game-but only if they never discuss work, which Al readily agrees to.
